There is nothing wrong with being judgmental. You judge everyday and about everything. It is your defense mechanism. People that throw that ability out the window because of what some teacher or philosopher told them are the people that get into trouble.
Charles Manson was one who taught don`t judge people yet he used that very philosophy to lead his young gullible followers to murder 7 people with kitchen knives. Really what he was teaching was don`t judge me. I may look crazy and smell but inside I`m a nice guy.
If a person, covered with jail house tattoos and ragged looks, asked you to go under a bridge with him would you? If you say no then your being judgmental. But you probably saved your life.
People wear their philosophies on them. Look around and you will see it. In a world without morals the bad people hope you are blind as it makes you an easy victim.
The only problem with being judgmental is if you are unable to reassess that judgment when you are proved wrong later.

What I do is to always think that there must have been a very logical reason why a person acts in any particular manner...
I just put myself in that person's shoes and think "what could make me react like that"... Then I am able to imagine that something indeed may have caused their attitude and/or actions. Then I try to find ways to help them.
It is almost impossible to stop being jugdemental without actively practising a divine kind of love. Find out more about this kind of love by blessomania@yahoo.com

Sorry sweets, being judgemental is usually something they were raised to be. Its a personality trait that they usually acquire from their parents. Unless you can time travel and go back to the time that person was a child and change their parents. I doubt you can help this person unless they want to be helped. Good luck

You can only change yourself. If you have determined that someone else is judgemental, you are being judgemental about them.
If another person says or does something that is offensive to you, tell them.

You can't. If a person is determined to pre-judge everything and cast judgement on everything then you can't make them stop. It is a personality flaw.
