I was excited, then bored while watching. I'll just wait til it opens on broadway and enjoy it on stage. Its kind of a shame that they are even turning a classic like Grease into a cheap American Idol knockoff.

I haven't watched it, but I've seen the previews and heard the premise........to think that they can't find lead roles for this production is rediculous.......what this show really is is a marketing tool.....and a REALLY good one, too. Because of all of the hype that this show will create around the "Grease" production, I predict that twice as many people will go see it.
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if there were a couple of contestants that were planted into the group by the production company, and who will end up "winning" the roles.

Just like American Idol but with Grease tunes. Is anyone else out there sick of reality TV and is completely yearing for some good comedies & dramas to take their place? Perhaps I will post this & see.

It was okay, nothing new or exciting to me really. It is like idol to me. Billy Bush is an alright host. The auditions weren't as funny to watch as with idol. Maybe the dancing part will be better, so I might give this one more week to watch.

I filpped back and forth from what ever else I was watching. I guess it was okay, but I am not going to be a loyal viewer and I won't vote either.
