she is not ready u take my breast in her mouth.i m giving her breast milk with bottle.My friend suggest me to stop giving through bottle and start giving milk with spoon.

My son was born 5 weeks early too and breast feeding was not a breeze like people make it sound. First-stop pumping it will affect the milk supply. Talk to a nurse or lactation specialist-they can give you tips on feeding positions that may be easier for you both. Second-premies have a tougher time nursing as the suck reflex may not be fully developed. Don't give up-premies need to nurse more than anyone! It will help the immune system and give so many benefits-just keep at it. It is easier to drink from a bottle so using that may discourage nursing. Try finding a professional who can give you tips and show you ways to make it easier. I will say after about two weeks for my son and I it clicked and we were fine. If all else fails then pump and store your milk so you can try to keep him on it for 6-12 months. And remember any breast milk is better than none, you are doing a good job (becasue it isn't the natural thing people make it out to be-it is tough), and it will get eaiser! Good luck!

Congrats on your baby! And good for you for giving her breastmilk! It is the best thing you can do for her!
Take the bottle away! Use a cup, spoon or syringe to feed her.

dont force your baby.
When she is ready to feed from your breast she will.
Use a pump until the day she sucks away.

please contact your local lactation consultant, most big hospital have one. if they do not, call your local LLL.
