Ok bear with me here. But I think in a round about way you seriously can.

Some people can store up such tension and such stress that they finally just explode. It can definitely manifest itself as a good old fashioned temper tantrum. But there is something so therapuetic about letting it all out. Once you've aired how you felt....... cried a few tears...... released all that was built up inside you, you surely can lose that temper....... and let go of it and move on.

In another sense I feel you can as well. Once..... (yes, just once lol) I seriously lost my temper so badly on someone that I even scared myself. I was so angry that words were flying out of my mouth and I almost felt like I was having an "out of body" experience hovering over myself saying, "Who is this?? Because this can't be me!!"

The effects of this temper tantrum I threw were traumatic. It hurt the other person greatly....... and I hurt myself as a result. You think I ever let that happen again? NEVER!!! So in a sense..... as you learn from losing your temper....... you learn to never do it again in such a way that you destroy good thing in your life.

Yes.... I believe you can get rid of your temper..... by losing it.

You will never get rid of it; but by watching it you can keep it down nearly all the time. ITS PRESENCE IS YOUR LIMIT. Your reform will never quite reach perfection, for your temper will beat you now and then, but you come near enough. You have made valuable progress and can make more. There IS use in training. Immense use. Presently you will reach a new stage of development, then your progress will be easier; will proceed on a simpler basis, anyway.

I think so. Usually after losing their temper, people realize how foolish they look, or how stupid the issue is that they are mad about, and chill.

Blowing off the steam helps release the pressure, too.
