No, I would hope this person is a student.

No. Many people concentrate on taking college classes after 18. If you do that without getting a job, you either come from a rich family, or you are racking up some fierce student loans. But in either case, you're not a bum.

Not necessarily, it would depend on what that person did instead of working, was he or she in school/sports/extra curricular activities? If the answer to this is yes then I wouldn't say they were a bum, but if they just stayed at home playing PS2 for hours on end then yes.

You may also look out for an option to work online to make extra cash in your spare time. I am a part time worker doing work online at home, so I would like to share a link where you can make $600-$1500 in a month working at home. The work need to be done is posting/answering a discussion and uploading any photo/image of your interest. For details visit

I will publish few more genuine site in couple of weeks, where you can earn money. You may also write to me at talkofmoney@rediffmail.com (Note: When u are planning for a home based online work, be careful because most of them are scam and ask you to pay initial money. never pay money to any such site.)

It depends, if he is going to college, or is doing volunteer work, taking care of a sick parent, etc..then I would consider him a verydecent person.

If he is freeloading and doing nothing all day but watching t.v. then yes i would condsider him a bum

I didn't get a job until I was 18, then I became a student.

Now I have a full time job. So, no, not necessarily.

I wouldn't. Some people don't find that certain job that they like until an older age. For who ever its for, just keep looking and eventually you will find something you like. Good Luck!

If the person was in school, nope.

If out of school and no job, then yeah, kinda.
