Just had my first scan of my baby, and it looks amazing. I know they fade easily so does anyone know what to put on it that will prevent it from fading? I was thinking to laminate it but I have heard it still fades. Has anyone tried anyhing on thiers?

Since they are printed on thermal paper there is pretty much no way to prevent it from fading. The best thing to do is scan them into a computer to keep them for the future.

The first ultrasound I received for my daughter was over a year and a half ago. I put one in one of those ultrasound picture frames and the rest are in my daughter's personal photo album. It's a regular photo album with the little plastic pockets and the look exactly the same as the day I got them. So my recommendation, would be to start a photo album, then your very first pic of the baby starts out the album and you can keep it going in order.

I lamenated mine, its almost 3 years old, still looks OK. I also scanned them and printed them on film, I put them in an acid free scrap book. The pic will last longer than the lamenated one because light will fade the laminated ultrasound

I scanned them into my computer at a very high quality within the first few days of receiving each of mine so if they faded or were damaged I could reprint them later. Also made sharing with friends and family long distance easier :-).
