I'm 14 weeks pregnant and stomach is basically just "thicker". I was wondering if one day I'll just wake up and it'll be bigger all on its own...or does it happen slowly. What was your personal experience and at what point did it occur in your pregnancy?

I am pregnant with my third baby 81/2 months... and with all three pregnancies people are constantly telling me I don't look pregnant, even though to my husband, my mother, and myself I feel like I look it. I think there are a lot of variables and it depends on your body and the size of the baby. (my smallest weighed in at 6.2 lbs).
Either way just enjoy the pregnancy! Congrats!

Have a GREAT day!

I had 2 really big babies, the first was 10lbs.5oz. and the second was 9lbs.11oz. I am 5ft.3in. tall and short-waisted, so I carried both babies right out in front. I didn't gain much extra, it was all baby both times. I "popped" with the first one at about 6 months and the woman at the grocery checkout asked me if I was expecting triplets! Sounds funny now but at the time... With the second one I was showing earlier but didn't really pop all of a sudden like with the first. It was more of a gradual thing, though people who only saw me once a month at our playgroup could certainly see the difference from month to month. So I guess the answer to your question is that every woman and every pregnancy is different. Congratulations!

i'm 34 weeks with twins today and that i'm getting that remark each of the time... and it bothers me every time too! merely because there are 2 toddlers in there does not recommend we'd want to consistently be gaining two times the quantity of weight! i have really received 29 lbs and that i'm all abdomen, yet they're both laying sideways in a circle so that they don't look to be taking on as a lot room. after I get rude comments like that (and have self assurance me, after being instructed by some undesirable stranger that my toddlers are going to spend months contained in the well being middle because i'm starving them) i have merely realized to reply with "nicely, i have were given a lengthy torso so that they are taking on extra room up and down instead of out. And my physician says the sonograms are showing that they are healthful and may want to be over 6 lbs each!" and then attempt to regulate they challenge. even if you're literally not very tall, the lengthy torso remark works fairly nicely. i understand this is troublesome to hearken to human beings say those terrible issues because even if you do not ignore that your doing all of your perfect, stupid comments will nevertheless get into your head. attempt to have self assurance your physician and your body. you'll understand in case you want to be gaining extra. besides, you're merely about performed with this being pregnant and soon you may have on your hands 2 appropriate, healthful, complete length toddlers! all of us else can bypass bounce off a bridge till then! strong success!

Yes, it doesn't really pop, it just creeps up like weight gain, but will appear to have popped to the outside world around week 22-26.

It can gradually happen or it can happen over night. I woke up one day and was huge after just having a little pudge the day before. It's all about the baby's positioning.

Believe it or not, one day around 15 weeks baby "rolled" on over top of my pelvis and it literally seemed like my tummy "popped" up out of nowhere.
