I have 2 children already but have always wanted 3. My husband and I have been trying for over a year and nothing. My first was a surprise but my second was very easily conceived when my first was 3 months old. I really want to have another one now. My doctor told me to try for a year but I am getting upset that it has not happened yet. I have tried the ovulation kits but had no luck. I can not quit thinking about it and know that that does not help things. Any ideas?

Stress can play a big factor. Try not getting pregnant. Thinking about trying to get pregnant can put alot of stress on you. Also something else to think about. If god wants you to have another baby he will. And maybe it is not time. Everything happens for a reason and maybe you dont see that now you will.

I have been having the same issue. I have been trying for 7 months and I have also been using the ovulation kits with no luck. Sometimes taking a weekend or a night away during your ovulation time with your husband is nice. It might help you relax and let go of some of the stress to help you conceive. Also if you haven't gone to see your doctor you should make an appointment since you have been trying for a year and have 2 other children.

Well it all depends on how old you are ? And how long it has been since you have conceived your other two childeren. Stress is a big factor(I think) in getting pregnant, the people who seem to try are the ones you have the hardest time conceiving. You said your 1st pregnancy was a surprise well do what you did the first two times to get pregnant. And if no luck in about 6 months go to a doctor. Best of Luck.

Hello - I think I may be able to help you get pregnant. You need to go out and buy an Ovulation Kit called FIRST RESPONSE. What this kit does it tests your urine the very first thing in the morning and when it turns BLUE then you can have a baby. It really works as I used it as my time clock was ticking.It doesn't give you gender it gives you a baby. I have 3 healthy boys to prove it so Good Luck!!

It is best if you relax and not be stresed about it. Trying for a year is the typical thing the doctors tell you to do. I would go back to the doctor and find out what is the next step like having you and your husband tested to see if both of you are still able to conceive and then maybe moving on to fertility medications.

If your doctor said to try for a year and you did, then go back to him. A year is plenty of time to try. If he doesn't take your concerns seriously then go see someone else. Good luck.
