I'd rather read a book because a book can take into a fun adventure (if you have a great imagination like mine) and what can you get from a movie? Well if it's a horror movie you get the h*ll scared out of you. what fun is that?
So yea definetely a book.

Depends on the movie and the film. But generally, I'd rather read a book.

Not a simple question. Of the books that I have enjoyed the most I have seen the movie first. I think due to the association of face to character. I can remember Regan crawling accross the floor in The Exorcist like a spider in the movie. Scared the crap out of me in the theater but made my very skin 'crawl' as I read the book and remembered the scene. In the same respect, Dean Koontz writes as though the HD screen is in my very hands.

Read the book. When I end up seeing the movie version after reading the book, I always end up thinking the book was better. Case in point, "Harry and the Goblet of Fire". (It's been awhile since I've seen a movie). Though the movie was just o.k., the book was waaaaay better.
