I think you and your uncle have a quite a bit of talking to do! Let me take a guess... he co-signed on this car with you, you are late on payments and making his credit go south. He decides to tow the car.... you got upset... and "overtook" him?? Hmmm... I think you need to take a long look in the mirror and see what the real problem might be.

I don't know the issue(s) surrounding the towing, but some people are "respect me no matter what" type people. He'll eventually get over it. Give him time.

Maybe he's embarrassed that your car is still faster than his, even when it's being towed in neutral.

Maybe he thought it was dangerous for you to be passing him in a car without a functioning engine. Or maybe he was embarrassed that he was driving so slow that it was even possible for you to attempt it.

i know that alot of people that like to have a person they know behind them when hauling something so that if anything happens one they have someone there and two if they lose some of the load they are carrying as bad as it sounds it hits you not a stranger if it falls off
