Area = LW = A

1.5W * 1.5L = 2.25LW = 2.25A

It's a little hard to tell with all the typo's and spelling errors, but I think I can help.
The original area is length * width. If each is increased by .5 it's original size, the new area can be shown as
1.5*length * 1.5*height. The 1.5 *1.5 gives 2.25, the factor by which the area will increase.
