You are going to ber judged all your life on this exam. Some people get lower scores because they freeze up with tests, some because they do not mark the little circles or boxes correctly. Go to Barnes and Noble and pick up a book on how to take the IQ test. then take one of the practice tests in the book. A practice test can make all the difference in how well you take the test.

There are online tests you can take if you search for them, but the results will probably be only approximate. For a truly valid answer, you'll need to take a standardized test under controlled conditions. One way would be to go to a local psychologist. He/she may or may not administer the test, but they should know one that does.
Another would be to contact the local chapter of Mensa, the organization that accepts members only if they score in the top 2% of any of the standardized IQ tests. I think they offer tests periodically for a small fee. Go to the site below and explore to find a chapter near you.
