Yes, Memphis has some serious traffic problems. I now live near Phoenix Arizona and the traffic is actually alot worse here. I have also driven in South Korea and Mexico....both alot scarier than anywhere in the states. lol

Yes...everyday. It's a nightmare. If you give a signal to change lanes other drivers won't let you over. Most are driving without insurance. Drivers coast in the fast lane at 60 and refuse to move over. Insurance rates are high in this region. Don't even get me started on the city streets!

I've never driven in Memphis, but I have driven in Knoxville. Same thing there.

Never been there myself. A lot of big cities are like you said, though. We will go the long way around to avoid Chicago and while I love it, Atlanta DOES seem to go on forever. Cincinnati is kind of scary, too. Detroit seems okay, though. Weird!
