Depending on your budget the worlds your oyster. You could take a world map, close your eyes and stick a pin in and go there or your local agent may have brilliant ideas and they usually have been there so you get first hand info. Personally i would love a safari but thats expensive and your not guarenteed to see all the animals. There are some brilliant places in this country too but you cannot depend on the weather. Tenerife has good weather all year round.

I vote for the cruise! That way you get to see more of the world. Failing that, I would prolly like Devon area. The person mentioning Ireland had a good idea also.
If in the USA anywere in the Western mountain areas is nice.

Depending on where you live, you should go to the wineries. Stay at a cute little bed and breakfast and go wine tasting. Usually, there are also outdoor activities (hikes, kayaking) or a nice restaurant for dinner! Have fun and Happy Birthday!
