You should eat breakfast. You should try harder in school. Get a job. You need to act more responsibly. Your not making me proud. Im ashamed of you, why don't you fix the situation. and it goes on. People who judge you hardly look at the mess that they are. How do you put people like this in their place. Spare the rod spoil the child. i know... but what is the Rod?

Here's a straw suck it up.
Don't waste time or energy trying to change how people love you. How do you know if people you love wish you were tougher on em? Accept that is how those people have chosen to express their love to you, be grateful you have such concern in your life. Then put aside all of your pride and vanity and honestly ask yourself if what they are saying, if their suggestions have any merit. Change accordingly.
