I am 34 weeks and I didn't find out the sex. I have been getting non-stress test and nocticed that the babys heartbeat is very low. It stays around 130. I have 3 boys and they all were around 140-150. I was really hoping for a girl but they say boys are low and girls will be high, up around 160. So do you think this means it will probally have to be a boy.
I just want to hear what your heartbeats were and what you had? Thank you!

both my boys were around 150-155. I think yours is a girl.

My baby's heartbeat was high - around 160, so I was supposed to have a girl, but no - that was a boy with a very strong heartbeat. You can't rely just on the heartbeat (or on the way the belly looks or anything else that doesn't have any scientific explanation). Chances are 50/50 :)

No mine started out at 160 and then the further along I got the more it dropped and when I was in labor it went down to around 130-140 and it was a girl. But, my friend is preg with a boy and hes is the same so That is a myth and should not be trusted. I wish you best Luck

This is an old wives tale, BUT:) My baby's heartbeat has stayed in the 150s and we found out last week that baby is a SHE:) So, it turned out to be true in my case. It's said that under 140 is a boy and over is a girl:) Good Luck to you!

I asked my Dr. about the heartbeat prediction. I am 17 weeks & will find out in a week what I'm having. He said it has nothing to do with the sex. The baby's heartbeat is higher when the baby is moving around & lower when it's sleeping or being still. If you really want to know the sex of your baby just ask your Dr.

I have a boy and a girl and their heart beats were 140-150 for the boy and 155-165 for the girl. Sounds like another boy but I would never guess 100% from the heart rate.

I was todl that the low heartbeats are boys and the high ones are girls. I sisn't find out the sex either, but the heartbeat stayed consistantly low at 130-135 and I had a boy.

I am having a boy and his heartbeat is always between 140 to 150. So I would say your having a boy, but then again it could be either.

my first, a boy was always 130, my two after that were girls and they stayed about 163. I heard this rule when i wss pregnant I didnt believe it but so far everyone has been right going on this rule of thumb with the heart beat (at least people i have met so far) Good Luck getting what sex you want!!

i'm 22 weeks with a boy and his heartbeat was 160
and one of my friends is 21 weeks with a boy and his heartbeat was 155
