Yeah I agree there should be a kids Y!A. Some of the things adults like to talk about or ask questions about should not include children. Yahoo needs to add Y!A for kids to the yahooligan section...

Actually I quite like some of the kid questions. I think it is good to keep in contact with younger people. It is easy enough to ignore the silly questions - how many girls/boys are there in the world wondering how to attract someone's attention?
However, I do worry about many of the racist/violent/abuseive questions and answers - they're so inappropriate. I find them offensive and I'd hate for my kids to think they're normal.
I'd like to see more monitoring. So I suppose I say "no", with some hesitation, though.

Yes and no. It would sometimes be nice to have some of the more childish questions off of here, but at the same time, sometimes it's good for the kids to get to hear some adults' opinions about some of their questions. It makes them see that their parents aren't alone in their thoughts on what they should be doing and how they should be behaving.

yeah I know what you mean. I love kids, but somethings people discus on here aren't appropriate for their age. But then there are those kids with serious problems that adults can help because they have been threw the same thing.

What, and miss out on all the insightful mental masturbations...? Oh, wait... that's yahoo in general...

I know -- better yet -- let's have an adult section!

Just think of all the new emoticons we could have in IM...
... heh heh heh

How we all wish. On second thought, how are they to get real answers if they are just kids. Who would tell them how they are suppose to behave if they are to consult only themselves? lt just crossed my mind.

l have to admit though that the "homework thing" is getting on our nerves.

heard of phidophiles!!! You are pushing the kids into their clutches.
But yes i have another suggestion though. There shud be points for 'best question' in certain categories like 'polls & surveys' and 'jokes & riddles'.
Any question that gets say 10 thumbs up qualifies.

nice idea but I think it would be tough to monitor. The same sickos that come in here that bug us and we can ignore would find their way into a kids' room eventually.

Good idea. . .
Give kids their own forum-why not!
It can't be any more-different than monitoring the adult site, can-it?
And, it would be more practical to both, kids and adults.
