Could anyone tell me about morning sickness? I'm supposed to be starting my period at the end of this week and have been feeling a little more sick than usual. I have been incredibly tired, a little dizzy, feverish and for the past two nights I have been REALLY sick at night, a little sick in the morning and fine in the afternoon. I'm not one of those girls who thinks that they are pregnant 24/7, I'm just not used to these kind of symptoms. Could it be acid reflux disease or something like that?

ok, sorry wrong wording. not feverish. just feel a little warm more than usual. i usually feel cold and now i'm finding that i'm warmer in body temperature.

I started to feel sick the week before my period was due and it's been ongoing since then, increasing in intensity each week.
I found that I was burping a lot, and felt like I had acid reflux. I was also dizzy and slightly nauseous. Every day isn't the same. Some days I feel so great, that I worry that I am not pregnant any more, and some days I want to die. Most days are in the middle. The time of the day isn't really telling, as morning sickness can strike at any time. For example, yesterday I only felt mildly queasy during the morning, it eased during the afternoon, and during the evening it spiked again and then went away totally. Today, I woke up nauseous and it continued that way until I finally barfed. Now I feel great, just a little tired. It really can strike at any time, and is not at all predictable. It's also different for every woman and every pregnancy.
Since you are also feeling very tired, it is definitely possible that you are pregnant. Be patient, and if your period doesn't come by this time next week, take a test. If you test too early, you will likely get a false negative (I didn't get a strong positive until I was about a week late).

I think that I experienced morning sickness with BOTH my children at the day of conception and for the first 4 months of my pregnancy. Except mine lasted all day long and was not just in the morning. I do not remember ever running a fever with my morning sickness though. My suggestion to you is get a pregnancy test and take it. As far as I know, acid reflux does not cause a fever either. But, to find out what is going on, I would take a pregnancy test and if that does not tell you anything, you need to see a DR. Regardless, those symptoms are NOT normal!

I would go get an early pregnancy test. I found out I was pregnant because I was sick (with what I thought a sinus infection) and went to the doctor. She asked me the first day of my last period, and it was about right at even at 28 days prior. I think that I was sick because I was pregnant. Once I took the test and I found out that I was pregnant, I had sickness at night only. I only got sick about 10 times, but always at night. Being tired is another indication. If your pregnant, any time you see a place to sit down, you could go to sleep. Things didn't work out between my son's dad and me, but he's a great father. And my son is the best thing that ever happened to me. Good Luck.

Morning sickness typically does not start until at least 4 weeks into a pregnancy. Fever is not associated with it either.

Go get an E.P.T. from the drugstore. I would think you just might be pregnant if you are experiencing all of this. My telltale sign that early on was much darkened nipples. If you have this on top of all of that, I bet you really are.
