When a horse cribs it makes a sound just like burping. Cribbing is really bad for your horse though because it can cause colic, so you should get a cribbing collar.

No, horses do not burp. They also can not throw up either. This is because of the way that their digestive system is put together- it's quite fragile and easily upset. Because they can not burp or throw up, they are prone to colic, which can frequently be lethal. Colic is basically like having a really upset stomach, but horses will roll around, get up and down repeatedly, and kick at their stomachs because it is uncomfortable, and then they can twist their intestines and they usually don't survive without very expensive surgery. Colic is also usually accompanied by a lot of sweating and a fever.

You may wish to be more explicit. If your horse is burping is it constant. Does it put its fron teeth on a post or object and then pass a burping sound. Horses that do this are called wind suckers. It is difficult to control, even with the special collar. Often the result is badly worn teeth which will affect their ability to eat or chew grass. You need to have a vet take a look and offer suggestions on how to control the habit. Paddocks that have an electric fence to keep horses of the post or rails helps to control this habit

Im unsure if horses can burp, they are asserting that they can't throw up yet I even have considered a horse do what i might call throw up grain by using its nostril from being trailered down an fairly windy highway. This I even have considered with my own 2 eyes as i replaced into the single hauling the pony. It replaced into grain and saliva mixed.

Yes and no, they kind of burp but not a really big one like we do. They are kindof like what happens to us just before we burp, it rumbles in our stomach and up our throat, and they just kindof open their mouths and let the air out. But let me tell ya, they sure fart a lot!
