You should be fine, as you can only get pregnants when you are ovulating and you would have ovulated before your period, you should carry on takin your pills. I really doubt that you could get pregnant although there is a chance.
If I were you I wouldn't worry through. Remember is takes a while for people to conceive once they come off the pill so if you missed one it should't matter, is you carry on your cycle.
Don't worry, maybe give your GP a call to double check.

Depending on the type of birth control pill you use, you may be fine taking the missed pill today. I take Ortho Tri-Cyclen and have missed a day once or twice in the past. With Ortho, if you miss taking a pill at your normal time, you can take it as soon as you remember, even if that's not until the next day and you must take two pills at once. That's what I did and I didn't get pregnant or mess up my period or anything and I do have unprotected sex with my boyfriend. If you don't have the info pack for your pills, I would recommend calling your gyn or local planned parenthood.

Although ovulation usually occurs in the middle of your cycle, it CAN occur at other times, even during your period. It CAN be triggered by intercourse, orgasms, changes in stress level and get this... If the moon is in the same phase as it was at the time of your birth that can trigger it too... Weird huh?
When it comes to unplanned pregnancies, it's better to be safe than sorry though. If it were me, I'd seriously consider taking the morning after pill. Call your doc to discuss this with them. If they do recommend you taking the morning after pill, there may be special instructions for how to continue taking your birth control for this month as well.

In general, you will not ovulate until 7 days before your next period is due BUT that is based on a regular 28 day cycle. To be safe, you should go and get the morning after pill. As a midwife, I have cared for a few people who thought they were safe and weren't.
Hope this helps

If you just finished your period yesterday, you should be clear. A woman doesn't normally ovulate until 10-14 days from the FIRST day of her period. I assume you have a period lasting 5 or so days so, you would have then had unprotected intercourse on day 6, therefore, you should have NOT been ovulating, so no chance of pregnancy. However, if you are concerned, consult with your doctor.

You will always risk pregnancy, not to mention a host of possible STD's when having intercourse without protection. There is no certain way to determine if you really need to take the morning after pill. In this case, it is really a decision you need to make based on possible aftermath.

If you are over the time limit on taking the pill, read the instructions on your pill packet as it will tell you what you need to do if you have missed your pill. Any doubts go ask a pharmacist or call NHS direct.

i think you'll be okay as its very rerely you can catch pregnant just after a period as the best time to conceive is 2 weeks after your period but to be carefull id go to docs and get it anyway. you can also buy it over the counter at local chemists

That's the sort of question you should ask your GP or someone at family planning (in confidence).
Whatever the answer here you should only really listen to what they tell you.

Odds are you'll be fine as its highly unlikely you'll get pregnant during that time of the cycle.
