My girlfriend and I had a bit of a scare less than a month ago when a condom slipped off but i didn't think there was any contact. Just last nite she complained of odd stomach pains, not like a stomach ache or anything she'd felt before? She's buying a home pregnanacy test after school but if it says no, what's the accuracy of it!? Please help......

Yes, condoms CAN slip off by accident. Good for you for being concerned and responsible. I have an additional opinion. I would have her see a doctor as well. The pain she could be feeling might also be an ectopic pregnancy (where the fetus is located outside the uterus). It can be painful as early as she is feeling pain, and can also be very dangerous. You are doing the right thing! Hang in there and good luck.

You can take a home pregnancy test a week after and know. But make sure it is the "First response" test. It's the only one that can tell that soon. It worked for me both times I was pregnant. It may be a very light pink line, but it will show! Cramps or pain don't have anything to do with being pregnant though............

You dont usually get stomach pains when you're pregnant, if shes going to the doctors next week why waste your money on a home test..you'll know soon enough. The doctor can tell you immedialtely. Good luck to you both.

Good luck to you. At least you were using protection. The test should be pretty accurate today.
(If the result is something you do not like make sure you all talk about it and decide now (you did say 'after school' I'm assuming your young). It is still early. I wish you all the luck.)

She wouldn't have pains, as much as slight cramping, similar to her period. The accuracy of the test depends upon when her period is due. She really should wait until it's 1 week past due to have a truly accurate result.

Usually, they are pretty accurate. However, I have one question....how does a condom slip off? They just don't slip off. Hell no. If your girlfriend accepts this lame excuse, then she is a french fry short of a happy meal. I know guys try to impregnate young attractive women to have this "eternal connection" with them. It is a control thing. Young men figure that if they have a baby with their girlfriend, then there is no way they can't be seperated forever because now they have something in common. Any guy reading this will tell you that things just don't slip off. Nice try!!
