When I download my songs, sometimes the song info or artist isnt correct. So I rename it & then add to itunes. I have had to change some of the genres too. I clicked on the name and then changed it. I had one genre say blues, but it was really rock. So I changed it to the correct one. But then I noticed in my ipod that the name wasn't changed (it was the orig before I renamed it) & the genre wasnt changed. Do I actually have to go into the song file itself and change the info? I would think once I change it, it will show up that way on my ipod. Whats the point of me changing everything if it wont work right? Has anyone else had this problem? Any help at all will be great. Thanks in advance!!!

To ♥PEEK_a_BOO♥, I did wonder why I guy was saying "much love" & added a heart. I didn't notice his was the same as yours until you told me. Cause I read yours earlier and then read his later. I will let "You" know if it works. Thanks!!

If you fix it on iTunes it doesn't automatically change it onto your iPod. After you make all your corrections on iTunes you must plug in your iPod to your iTunes and let it update. If you deleted songs from your iTunes but you still have them on your iPod then they will say they found songs on your iPod not on your iTunes, do you want to import them onto your iTunes? if you want them back then click yes if not then no. You must make changes first on iTunes then plug you iPod back in to get all your updates or changes.

on account that iTunes songs are literally DRM loose, you may do inspite of you pick with them. so that you'll be able to import it into Audacity and then edit in case you pick. i have not carried out that yet I keep in options enhancing a song a lengthy time period in the past utilising Sony Acid (yet another enhancing software) and it labored, in spite of the undeniable fact that the sounds high quality become degraded.

if your ipod is already plugged in when you are changing it, it won't show up until you unplug it and replug it. it works that way for me.
