Its possible his odor is caused by his diet sort of like the odor caused by ingesting too much garlic.

At any rate, if you want to talk to him about, please be tactful. Be sure that the conversation is private so that it can't be overheard by co-workers to avoid further embarrassment to him. Don't tell him he stinks; just tell him he has an unpleasant odor & ask if he uses deorderant.

But I would just ignore him if you can. I once worked with a husband & wife who ate a garlic clove everyday. It didn't bother me enough to say anything. But I was on the elevator with them & thought I was going to vomit. I still didn't say anything; I just made sure I never got on the elevator with them again.

Why do you have to insult him? What have Arabs done to you? And before you open up your mouth and say something, start by using your head for other things other than combing your hair and wearing a hat.

Iranians are not Arabs, they are Persians. And both, Arabs and Iranians are good people. If you treat them with respect, you will be respected.

Iranian isn't Arab. Totally unrelated group of people.

Yes, you should tell your co-worker, be as polite as possible when you do.
something such as << the smell of the cologne or deodorant that you use makes me feel sick or uncorfortable, can you use a different one? >> this remark should make your co worker realize that you are not pleased with hir or her smell, wheter or not he or she uses any cologne at all.
