Has anyone ever wanted to travel a long distance (from WI to FL) during their 32 week and what did the doctor say? We would be driving so the airline is not a issue, but I am wondering what the doctor might say and other people's experiences. I am having a planned c-section about 2-3 weeks before my due date and I don't know if needing a c-section and not being able to do a natural birth would or could account for any reason not to either. Thanks for any thoughts!!

wow thats a long way to travel. i would hold off till after i had the baby. being in a car that long while pregnant will be torture. plus right now in florida the high for today is in the 80's i know because i live here. its really hot. i have a planned c-section in may to. you should really talk to your doctor but don't put yourself through all that driving.

As long as there are no problems the Dr will let you. I will say that you will be miserable.

I traveled from Fl. to N.C when I was 31 weeks and it was awful. I just want you to be prepared for that.

You have to ask you're Dr if you can make the trip. He will have you come in and check you out before you leave. Good Luck.
