I am having the same dilemma now. I have the "mommy tummy" too, and was activly looking to get a tummy tuck done. My best friend had hers done first, and I watched her cry for weeks from the discomfort and pain. She had to have someone bathe her, help her move and sit up for weeks after hers. Now, she's back to having a little belly, is dieting it off (or so she says). The tummy tuck scar is FAR worse looking than your "mommy tummy" anyday. Its about 1/2 to 1 inch wideand go from hip to hip usually, where C- Section scars are very skinny and only take up about 3-4 inches of your stomach. I have seen first hand what a tummy tuck can do, and I don't want that much agony just to lose a few inches or a belly. I have dieted off more inches and weight than my best friend did. I now weigh close to 15 lbs less than her, and thats without a tummy tuck. My belly is slowly tightening up with the help of the gym. Maybe you need to try that before you consider surgery....GL;)

I have the SAME issue. I want a tummy tuck too. I exercise and there is still no way to unstretch what has been stretched out. When and if you get a tummy tuck, just make sure to do some research on it to find a good doctor in your area. I can't imagine it being any worse than a CS. Good luck.

My friend had one done 18 months ago and it looks fantastic - reading your mail was just like talking to her before she had it done. Her stomach is like a wash board now and she shows it off at any oppurtunity she can - she would never wear bikinis before the proceedure but will do now - it has given her a whole new lease of life - Her only regret was that she didnt have it done sooner as she felt she wasted a lot of time trying to work it off at the gym dieting etc but it just wouldnt shift - when she went for her consultation the surgeon said that it would never had shifted no matter what she did. They took something like 15cms off her tummy and the scar was in the same place as her cs scar so no problem there. They also had to move her belly button but you can hardly see the scar as she has an `inny` button so hardly visible.

I would say go for it for sure - I know she would say the same and has no regrets whatsoever.

Good Luck x

I distinctly doubt it. first of all you will possibly elect 2 distinctive docs to accomplish 2 distinctive operations noticeably lots on an identical time. additionally maximum coverage companies do not conceal attractiveness surgical technique expenses, if any do. it incredibly is something you will possibly be able to desire to pay for out of pocket because of the fact it incredibly is senseless surgical technique. Too undesirable it may not be carried out for the reason which you're already all open and such interior the 1st place. Oh yet another element..for the area you may take transport of an area and saved unsleeping. For a tummy tuck you will might desire to be positioned under that's a distinctive anesthetic.

You can hear over and over how much someone thinks you look wonderful, but if you are not happy with the way you look, it won't really matter to you what they say. I would just make sure that you check out several doctors before considering it and weigh out the risks involved. I have an aunt that had the procedure done and she was very pleased.

Tummy tuck surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.
