well you should have a bootable windows xp cd. insert the cd in the cd/dvd rom or whatever you have and restart the computer. when it will restart, the computer will start reading the cd and it will be written "press any key to boot from cd". you should press a key :)) i usually press space :D it will start inspecting your computer's hardware and it will ask you if you want to repair it or whatever, and on the bottom of the screen it should be written "enter = continue, esc = don't repair", you should press esc, then you should press F8 [ you agree with the terms an conditions ], and then you will see the partitions [if you have several you could format only the one with the windows]. on the bottom of the screen you will have the options for the keys that you have to press, and i don't know the order of what you have to do, but i thin'k you'll do just fine. you will have to delete the partition [delete all the data you have on it] if you'll read. it will say "press delete to proceed. caution ALL DATA WILL BE LOST", and on the bottom of the screen you'll see L=delete.so after you format the partition you press enter [make sure that on the bottom of the screen enter = install] and it will ask you how to format [ntfs quick, fat32 quick. ntfs or fat32] i choose ntfs. after that you should let the pc work by itself. it will reboot and the windows screen will appear. it will say that you have 39 mins till the instalatyion will be complete. it will ask you the language options, and the c omputer name, and the serial [you will recieve it written along with the cd], and after that it will ask you the network settings [choose typical], and that's about it... let it finish, reboot, and then, to finish, it will ask youto set up the screen resolution and your name, the network settings [choose skip], and you're done. i hope i could help you. good luck %%-

you won't be able to try this usually; the computing device will truthfully now no longer savor that the two ISO information are for beneficial all portion of an identical OS and could ought to circulate in sequence. If it were that easy, Microsoft could have already have been given accomplished that for you. i could in basic terms purchase a clean Apple keyboard and that technique you have a working Eject button for at the same time as you want it at distinctive cases in some unspecified time interior the destiny, too. however the common command for Eject is Command-E, I have no thought if the abode windows installer will savor that, you're able to additionally attempt Ctrl-E if the command button would not artwork.

All you have to do is put in the 1st(there may be several) disk and restart your computer. Follow the on screen prompts.

However viruses can be removed. So lets give that a shot before you reformat and lose all of your information. Run the 3 scans below ...

Download, update and run Spybot---http://www.safer-networking.org/ . Don't forget to use the Immunize feature.

firstly you need to make sure your bios is set to boot from cd rom otherwise your windows disc wont boot. on the very first screen that comes up it should have press ......... for setup or something like that on bottom of screen. Once in bios go to advanced bios setings and select first boot device. change it to cd-rom IF NOT ALLEADY ON IT(bottom of screen it will tell you which buttons to push) exit bios. pc will restart. with windows cd in rom 'press any key to boot from cd' will apear at the top (push key!!) when in windows setup (read what it says) it may say 'to continue windows setup on this drive press escape' (or something like that) if so press escape. then you must delete the partition on drive with windows on it (press D). then create a new priamary partition(press C) then just setup windows on the new partition (press enter)

it is best you do NOT try to do this on your own unless you know what you are doing, try to find a friend who can do it for you, or spend some $ to have a shop do it for you
