I myself have always been big on Stem-Cell Research but with the lastest discovery we may have found a new way to do it without causing so much controversy! Does anyone else here in the scientific community care or not really?

I think it is great we can do more reasearch pleasing the religious right (ie Bush and supporters). But, I think that the way we are currently conducting steam cell research is perfectly fine; though hopefully now there will be more federal funds going into stem cells. California has allocated more money than any state or country for steam-cell research; it is about time other places start doing the same.
