ive been sick with a cold for 7 days i held my four month old rat on the first and second days and she just started sneezin.no poryphrin or any other symptoms.just sneezing. could she have caught my cold. please say yes!:)

rats are one of the animals that CAN catch colds...it may be a coincidence though...keep her away from drafts and try not to handle her...as long as shes eating and drinking and acting alright she should be fine

I would take your rat to the vet my sisters oldist rat was sneezing and here she founf out that he got a respiratory infection. if treated early they do fine
