Well, I played a long time. I have had a lot of (B)s, A million (C)s, A few (D)s including a broken nose on ahead first slide. an(E) broken wrist on a slide also, before I really learned how to slide. Numerous (F)s both thumbs, right shoulder, knee and back. (G) ACL, rotator cuff (minor tear no surgery only therapy and a steroid shot at the doctors office), and (H) the two most frightening injuries I suffered. 1. I was beaned by the fastest pitcher in the league when I was 13. It hit me flat on the helmet and didn't hurt much. The sound was incredible. It was like a shotgun blast. I was taken out of the game but ws okay within an inning. and (2) this was just frightening. When I was 19 I was called from the field (2 nd base) to catch mid-inning. I didn't have a protective cup on. During that half inning (before I got to my equipment bag and inserted the cup) a ball was fouled between my thighs. It struck me high on my right thigh. The bruise showed the stitches of the ball. When I stood up my "package" covered the bruise. Not extremely painful but a real wake up call on wearing the cup.

did you do any type of rehab? its not unusuall to have residual pain after a tendon or muscle injury... sometimes you have to work through it.. sometimes you need to keep pressing for answers... trust your guts... find some type of work you can do though..
