i installed my motherboard and attached all the perphiperals like ram ethernet card , sound card ,display card everything. how to install the motherboard drivers. the previous motherboard got spoilt. and the ram and the other peripherals i have fixed it in this new motherboard.

They usually come on a CD included with any new motherboard.

Getting the latest drivers for any onboard devices or chipsets directly from the manufacturer's website can't hurt.

BIOS updates can be especially important.

It depends on the motherboard. Usually they have a CD that comes with them, but the more parts (video, network ports, sound, modem, that are included on the board, the more likely you will need the drivers to get everything running. If you have any question marks in the system/device listing you will need to check for drivers.

You do not need a motherboard driver.

if it boots up you don't need them......if not you should have a disk from the manufacturer, if not go to the manufacture site and get the file.....it'll either be a bootable cd image file or a floppy file.
