I think he is an intelligent man full of wisdom, but not an "intellectual". He's more of a doer than a thinker.

Kerry, on the other hand is the Liberal idea of what an "intellectual" is. That is simply an elitist term for people who think they're smarter than everybody else, because they're "progressives". You know, the same people who tell you that if you aren't smart, you could end up in Iraq.

I do not don't forget him to be an highbrow, and neither does Publisher's Weekly, within the overview of "Bush's Brain:" "The authors' line on Rove is by means of now traditional knowledge, however they convey it to lifestyles with a wealth of element, portray nuanced person reports of Rove, the pushed highbrow with an abrasive side and an iron will to win, and Bush, the callow anti-highbrow with a captivating air and a necessity for field and a recreation plan."

Intellectual? No.

I believe he has intelligence and wisdom, but he does not have the hauteur or ego of the typical intellectual.

With money and power, an education can be bought, even at Yale. He stubbles around trying to talk, does not read books other than children's books, knows one language other than the smattering of Spanish he spits out inappropriately, has never written a published paper, has never written a book about anything, has never expressed an interest in solving world problems. Has an IQ of about 110. Make your own determination.

No, not an intellectual, but a very smart man.

He's smart enough to not act like he thinks he's smarter than everyone else.

No, I do not. Bush is good at being a politician and selling his message to the masses or anyone willing to believe his lies. Just ask the evangelicals. Bush promised them a lot and then sold them down the river.

Besides not having the gift of articulation, Bush is smart enough to surround himself with brilliant people. Smart enough to be President.

People calling Bush an idiot is now the "joke that stupid people laugh at."

no, he allows religion to play a role in his presidency, a intellectual would not do that, an intellectual would make choices based on what is right, and it is obvious what is with true knowledge, not what HIS religion says is right.
