If you can stand outside of the human mentality for a second yes it is good for it, morally justified ? probably not. but if you were to honestly look at this in an unbiased approach yes it would benefit

look at it this way, even in the animal community you can get an oversaturation in the populace, and if the herd is not thinned out then environment cannot support it and the herd will die due to insufficient resources.

People aren't any different no matter how much humanity would like to think we are, all we are is another mammal fighting for resources, but we multipl, and multiply, and no one thins our herd...

You want to know what will happen years down the road ? assuming plague, war, disease does not wipe us out first ? we will multiply to the point where we occupy every square inch of land, yes currently there are national parks, reservations, but when there are so many people that the governments have no choice these will go away. We will force every bit of wild life to extinction due to habitat loss and consumption, when we are all that is left there will be nothing to support us and we will slowly starve ... you see where this is going but honestly I challenge someone to disprove this theory because this is what is currently happening slowly everywhere, and will continue...

so you ask if an "ethnic cleansing" is necessary ? I say as a preservation effort yes, but it could never happen because morally people can't stand the idea, ethinc may carry it a stretch far the better term to use would be just cleansing, but who do you cleanse ? the elderly ? the poor ? the unpopular ? movie stars ?

on a side note after reading the guy below me about the native Americans... isn't it wonderful to see a country like the US who after what was done in our name to the Indians... go to another country and try to say you were wrong in anything ? we tell Saddam what he did was wrong, we told Germany the same ... all these people were doing was following the american model

No not at all. in fact ethnic cleansing is the exact opposite of what should be done. if you say oh, lets just kill all the Jews that are in and around us then that is not only the government being racist but it is a major economy crasher. if you welcome people into your country regardless of who they are they in time may help. but if u exterminate them then they won't be able to help you at all, then you will have stigma and others won't be able to help you either.

No - it's the power in charge purging the country of its enemies in the guise of making the country better. Any government that starts off killing people is the wrong type of governement.

I'm half Native American. . .
I don't think that trying to exterminate an entire people is really going to solve anyone's problems on any level, except for whatever impulse one might have to - well, kill everyone.
Though, apparently, it worked for the US so I don't know.
Half of me says yes, the other thinks I'm crazy.
