Jewish is not a race it is a religion, there is no such thing as jewish blood. Could it be that some call themselves jews because they think they will be treated or thought of as special?

One is Jewish if he was born of a Jewish mother or converted to Judaism in accordance with Jewish Law.

A born Jew remains Jewish even if he violates the precepts of Judaism.

There is no racial criterion whatsoever, and Jews are present in all races.

You're right. Judaism is not a race, but it is a nationality. Jews are those people descended from the Patriarchs: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Jacob's twelve sons. Regardless of their religious preference, they are still Jewish.

I think you are wrong. Being Jewish is as much a racial thing as a religious thing. I just do not believe that people act in the way you suggest.

Racially, jews are non Arab Semites and are often recognisable as jews. Semites are a sub species of caucasoids although it is claimed that one of the tribes of israel fled to Ethiopia and unexplainably turned Negro.

Probably the same reason people are called Italian, French, or Scottish and never visited there. Their ancestry may be from Jerusalem.

just the sheer ignorant human nature of generalizing people.

Why is every black person an automatic card holding member of the so called "black community?"

I never hear of White or Asian community?

Sheer generalization my friend
