Do you think Israel planning a nuke strike in Iran?

If so do you think Iran will do anything about it if they get nuke?

Most sensible military powers have a number of contingency plans which are kept fully up to date at all times. I'm sure Israel has such a plan, but that's not the same as an intention to carry it out.

However there is considerable logic behind the argument for dealing with Iran's growing nuclear capability before they are able to launch a nuclear attack themselves. The main problem is that it would not be necessary for Iran to possess a nuclear weapon in order to deter such an action. Any terrorist with a "dirty bomb" is capable of killing thousands and if it was known that Israel had nuked Iran then the threat to Israel would massively increase.

My personal view that something more subtle might be arranged - such as an "unfortunate accident" at Iran's uranium enrichment plant. Also remember that Israel dealt very effectively with Iraq's nuclear programme by conventional bombing.

Would Iran do anything if they got nuked? I can't imagine them sitting back and doing nothing but as they have sworn to destroy Israel anyway I can't see that it would make much difference.

I doubt that such an attack is immanent. This story was probably intentionally released by he Israelis to warn Iran. However, you can bet that all sorts of plans are in place should the order be given to the Israeli military to destroy Iran's nuclear program. Israel will not tolerate a nuclear armed Iran. It's that simple. So if Iran continues, then eventually something has to happen. This is a very complicated situation - much more so that Iraq. If Iran is sanctioned or attacked, then the world economy would be seriously effected by increased oil prices. And an attack on Iran by anyone would plunge the region into chaos. As for the attack plan being 'nuclear', I guess this would make some sense. Its been reported that the U.S. would have to use at least 1000 sorties to destroy Iran's nuclear program, and even then they might not accomplish the mission, So obviously Israel would approach this situation with all the fire power they could. Its terribly unfortunate, but I think you will see some bombs dropped on Iran within the next few years. As for this being 'the end'... No. It will not be. You could see a large scale regional war in the middle east. It would be bloody and chaotic, with ramifications for the entire world, but it would not be the end.

With the President of Iran publicly saying Israel should be destroyed,I would say there's about a 100% chance the Israelis
will conduct a military operation of some kind. I doubt nukes will
be involved,it will be an air strike against Iranian nuclear facilities
though. Israel isn't going to sit back and do nothing while Iran
prepares for war.

I hope so, Israelis are coward if they do not do it. and I doubt Iran will do anything except maybe sending some missiles and try to mobilize Hizbollah, but they cannot do it anyway, since hizbollah trapped between lebanese and Intl Forces...

i dont know about planning but it certainly will happen. in ezekial, it tells us that iran and its allies will be desroyed in an upcoming war after the rapture. iran will b destroyed in a flood of fire and hail{components of a nuclear attack}
