You don't give much away - so I'm guessing its because you are both in relationships. Here goes -
If your both married then you should both leave well alone. Work on your marraige and find out why you have feeling for someone other than your husband. and him his wife.
Don't put temptation in site. If you are truly unhappy with where you are now then do something about it but don't make this other person the reason you leave. Leave because you are truly unhappy and want to change. Then when you are on your own and work out what you want in life, and if he is free also. Meet up and see if things spark they way they once did when it wasn't possible.
Desiring what you can't have makes you want it all the more, but when you know you can have it, it somehow loses its shine, unless of course it was truly meant to be.
Tread carefully and be honest with all concerned. But most of all BE TRU TO YOURSELF.
Good luck.

Can you possibly be more obtuse? Want each other but can't? You are spinning, and you can't even be honest in a forum where you are somewhat anonymous, IMHO.
If you can provide some kind of meaningful specifics, then I will revise my opinion, but something tells me... you're not well grounded.

The problem is that you do not specify why the time is not right! If you divulged that, then it would be possible to offer a serious answer. Without that information it isn't!

It depends on you. Do you wait for the right time or do you just jump in?

Just be a friend, for now, so u get to know them better, and if the time is right, go for it. (and by knowing him/her better beforehand will show ist advantages then)
