Without attempting to spawn a religious debate...... the Earth as with all the other planets in the solar system coalesced into balls of gas that attained enough mass over time to develop a gravity that pulled those gasses in and formed hard 'planetary bodies'.
The further out from the sun, the longer the orbital pattern and therefore the more mass was needed, or the different materials coalesced. What we call the "Life Belt" of planetary bodies exists from the Venus to Mars orbital pattern.
Planets in that grouping would be the only ones that had a potential for a breathable atmosphere and a gravity that would not squish us like bugs in the first few seconds.

1. The big bang theory: About 13.7 billion years all the starts, planets, and eveything which is now was all together. After an inmense explotion, the universe started to expand.
2. The earth first there was magma and fire, and it was imposible to live in it. Then the Earth starts to cool down.
3. After millions of years, there were certain conditions which give life to certain animals, bacterias, or microscopic animals. Then more complex forms of life started to appear, life vegetation, some animals, etc.
4. The theory of evolution, you have different ones, the most famous is that we come from the ape
5. We don´t live in Jupiter because that planet doesn´t have the basic conditions that allows life to grow there.
Of course all these are theories.
If you speak to a person that believes in god he will tell you a different story.
And there are many theories

Jupiter is uninhabitable. The gravity would crush you into the size of your average pancake, plus it is made of gas.
Earth has been changed over many millions of years by all sorts of things (ever since it was just a big flaming rock), until life emerged and the bacteria changed the face of the planet via converting the sulphur in the atmosphere (from volcanoes, etc) into oxygen (which was a bacterial waste product). They evolved to suit the conditions and eventially after a few dozen hundred million years mankind came about from a huge bout of development, due to having all of the necessary conditions that we have evolved to need here on earth.
The earth is capable of sustaining life, obviously, jupiter isn't.

The earth was created to sustain human life perfectly. If the sun were any closer or further away we would all die. It's rotational orbit provides regular periods of light and darkness and allowing us to have 4 seasons of the year. We have enough water with properties essential for life. Carbon dioxide Is less than 1% of the the atmosphere. Not too little and not too much. Oxygen makes up 21% of the air we breathe. The perfect amount for human existence. Nitrogen is balanced making up about 78% of our needs. These three components make up our atmosphere, all in safe proportions to sustain life.
No other planet has been discovered as yet that has these essentials to human life.

of course! you cant live on jupiter because it has more material than all other planets and their satellites put togetrher.
the jovian atmosphere is made up of mostly H and He.it contains also some methane and ammonia. no free oxygen has been found.its atmosphere is cloudy, thus it is impossible to see over it.
jupiterhas no real surface at all. at a depth of roughly 165 km,the pressure of the jovian atmosphere is so high that gases in the atmosphere liquefy, resulting in a hydrogen-helium ocean. the presure is even greater it is at 245km,some of the hydrogen-helium mixture turns slushy. finally it becames solid. thus, jupiter is a huge ball of hydrogen mixed with helium.
again in earth. Earth was created in some spectacular theories.
Like the nebular hyphothesis, dust cloud theory, protoplanet hyphothesis. find that given theories, and that, you would know on how is the earth created.

Earth was created from the remains of an exploded star. Jupiter is a gas giant. There is no land and the gravity would crush us.

I'll answer the part that makes more sense. We don't live on jupiter because it can't support life. Its atmosphere is toxic and under such pressure we'd be crushed. The storms on the surface would blow anything about and rip it to shreds.
