Lots of things. I would have stood up to those bullies at school. Would have worked harder and started my pension after leaving school, studied harder and put more personal matters on the back seat.

It is very tempting to do this if we could actually do it and I know exactly what I would change but then how would my life be impacted by these choices? Sure it could be a lot better but then it could be a lot worse.
The past is the past and whatever mistakes we have made we need to learn from them, concentrate on the present and plan for the future.

Of course there are things I would do differently now that I know how badly they affected my life. But since going back and re-doing or un-doing is impossible, I try to focus on the present and plan for the future. I use my mistakes (and sins) as life lessons so I won't repeat them. This thing called "life" is a journey and the important thing is to learn and grow and finish the race well.

Smiddy would go back to the year 1957 and whisper in his parent's ears that, 'rather than consider Smiddy as their little boy's name, why not Smythek, or Cadbury or Bubba?'

oh for sure
1) not get married right out of high school...get my college education first
2) begin my world travel at an earlier age than I did
3) live alone for a while to be me first then decide on marriage
but life happens so live with it....all things happen for a reason
