The other day I was in the shower and I was rinsing out my hair and got really dizzy and light headed. I closed my eyes and I kinda like blacked out. I had to get out of the shower and lay on my floor for about 5 minutes until I felt better. Does anyone know why?

The water may be too hot, or also, have you been eating properly and getting enough fluids? Or could you be pregnant? If you make the water a little cooler but this still happens, I would see a doctor. Good luck to you.

I get this occasionally too; but as previous posters have put it is mostly down to heat and movement. I even had it getting out of the bath once - drained the bath and then every time I'd try to stand up to get out, everything would go black and I would feel the blood rushing out of my head to my feet. It was pretty terrifying and I was home alone - ended up stuck in the bath for about half an hour until I could see a TINY bit and just RAN to my room and launched onto my bed for half an hour. Was horrible and pretty trippy. I think the only thing to do is either make it less hot or be quicker. Sucks though!!

The water may be too hot which dilates your vessels and makes your blood pressure go down and this causes dizziness.

Not good. There could be several causes, including blood pressure problems or stroke. See a doctor.

Good luck!
