Your daughter will learn in her own time. I've saw a video of how I learned to walk. My dad stood me up and put my hands onto the sofa to get my balance. Then he got a bowl of strawberry trifle and apparently when I saw the trifle I walked straight over. I apparently loved trifly as a baby too. Hehe. Anyway she will learn when nature tells her that she is ready to start walking.
Good luck x

My son didn't walk until he was 13 months and my daughter didn't walk until after 2. When playing with her, play on coffee table or couch so she has to stand to play and then move toys around so she has to walk around the table or down the couch to get to the toys. As she gets more confident she will let go of stuff, but don't push too much, she will do it when she is ready and then you'll be telling her to sit down for minute!

You girl will learn herself when she is ready. Some children start to walk at 10 months, others don't start until they are 2 years old. Don't worry - if your child is physically capable of walking, she will figure it out eventually.
To help your child, you can give her lots of things to hold on to, so she can stand up. From standing, it's a big step to walking, but she'll do it!

She will get it when she is ready. I used to hold my son up all the time on his feet and every so often take my hands away. He always fell over but would want to try again. He also pulled himself along the sofa as he had something to hold on to. My son was 8 months when he walked on his own but my sisters daughter was more like 16 months. It shouldnt take her long now if she is crusing. Enjoy it when they start walking you wont get 5 minutes peace!!!!

You are wasting your time trying to push a child to do anything, walking, talking, potty training, they will do it in their own time, not yours. Encourage her as much as possible but remember that she will go at her own pace. It's not a measure of intelligence either, my son was 16 months when he walked and he now has a degree.
I always think that , when a child begins to get mobile, either crawling or walking, you should teach them to come down stairs safely by lying on their belly and going downstairs feet first. They seem to enjoy doing it and at the same time they begin to learn how to avoid danger.

my daughter has got muscle difficulties but what we used with her will work with any child get a small hula hoop then cut it and make it smaller put it over your child get her to hold on to the front get someone to call her so she goes forward you hold on to the back of the hoop to support once you feel shes got a bit of balance slowly let yourhoop go with a bit of luck shell keep going to the other person and carry the hoop with her but seriously once shes ready she will walk and nothing will get in her way and when they first start walking they think they have grown up and tend to try and escape at every opportunity id get reins ready if i were you also take her out with out the pushchair and hold her two hands and let her walk holding on to you she will love that it will give her more confidence

Let her learn at her own pace. Once they start walking you have to run to catch up with them. 11 months is still quite early for walking - relax and it will happen in a couple of months time. maybe get her a push along walker for her to practice on

I'd say leave her alone and let her develope at her own pace. But if she is pulling herself up on furniture and walking around it, try encouraging her to walk a short distance, three steps for example, to take a biscuit from you.

Learn/teach,who cares!!
In answer to your question though i do agree with the others she will walk when she`s ready and not before.
Do try one of those push along walkers though as they are quite good.
I also used to stand my son against the wall but kept close to him and stretch out my arms for him to take steps into and turn it into a game so he would also be having fun.
Hope this helps,xx
