As long as they are now supplying the links or downloads themselves then it shouldn't be illegal. May depend on which country u are in though

so some distance as my information is going, watching pirated action picture isn't unlawful. however the job of doing pirated video clips is illegitimate. If the government stops this , watching of pirated action picture won't upward thrust up.

BitTorrent websites are legal, so that would answer your question. It's your choice if you want to download a pirated movie or not.

What sort of information?

General info about a movie, like who the cast is, the general plot, etc.... is usually free.
