I was right there with you! I am a GAS machine during this pregnancy! I'm at 13 weeks right now, and I still look like I'm about 5 months. This is my forth preg ( 2 second trimester m/c, and one 3 year old son ) I had always heard that you get bigger faster after your first.

I had bad bloating in early pregnancy too. It happened so fast, like suddenly none of my pants fit. Sooo frustrating! I was not super slim, but certainly not overweight before pregnancy but I'm not really eating more than I did before either. Some women gain a lot of weight in blood volume, especially in early pregnancy. This volume is good for the baby. Just concentrate on eating a good healthy diet, and you'll be fine.

Im not saying you have what happened to me but with my 2nd child (am 7 weeks preg with third) I was like that then I bled, thought Id lost the baby...I had but I was carrying twins and one survived...The doctor said thats why i had gotten big so quick because it was twins the size of my uterus was bigger than usual for such an early pregnancy ( I was 9 weeks).but this time I also feel very bloated and look real fat....I think mine is wind personally !!! Goodluck

yeh i had this, but i didnt have wind!! i think its a build up of fluid just going on your belly, i even confused the midwives how big i looked for only being 8 weeks. dont worry when the baby goes it will take up the space and when its all baby u wont feel as big!! dont worry though you are completely normal. sometimes the stomach swells up more to protect the feotus, its your bodys way of protecting itself. good luck with your baby, hope all goes well xx

Talk to your Dr more. You gain weight more easily with each child, and it may be toxemia or gustational diabetes or something. Your Dr needs to check. My SIL swelled bad all over, feet wouldn't even fit in shoes huge, and hers was all normal and the Dr told her sometimes your body just reacts that way.

It's common to show more with later pregnancies.
Bloating doesn't necessarily have any relation to the size you will be when you start to properly show.
