I heard that you should watch it with the entire "The Dark Side of the Moon." Where do you start in the movie and on the CD? I'm a huge Pink Floyd fan and also I've always loved The Wizard of OZ and I'm just wondering how are they supposed to connect? Anyone out there know?????

First load the Dark Side of the Moon CD into your CD player and hit PLAY, then immediately hit PAUSE so it is cued up and ready to roll. Be sure also to set your CD player to continuous replay. The CD will play roughly two and a quarter times through the entire length of the movie. Now start the video and get past all the preview junk at the beginning and watch for the BLACK & WHITE MGM lion to roar. After the BLACK &WHITE MGM Lion roars for the THIRD (3rd) time IMMEDIATELY hit the play button on the CD player. Be sure to turn down the sound on the TV because the dialogue and original soundtrack are not necessary for this experiment. "The Dark Side of the Moon" will provide all the sound you need.

By The Way, I'm Sure Yahoo loves the sugjestion that the asker should Google the Answer :)

I would suggest getting the older version of Wizard of Oz. After queueing up Dark Side.., hit pause before it plays. In the begining of the movie the MGM lion will appear. Wait for the lion to roar a second time, then press play.
despite popular belief, the dialogue will not sync up, but there are a lot of erie similarities. You'll see. If your having trouble syncing up the two, I've also seen the movie on the internet with the album already synced up.
I did this before back in the day and it was a lots of fun. Good luck!

I think you start the CD on the lion's third roar, but there's different timings for every version of the tape.

Google it, you should be able to find out when you should start it for yours. It's interesting to see, especially when you have a cheat sheet.

The song Money is full of syncs- look for the change of black and white to color, as well as "do goody good" when Glinda comes flying up in her little pink bubble.

And to whoever said that they only watch it tripping on acid... it's quite fun to watch it happen in a perfectly unaltered state of mind, too. The strongest drug I've ever had was a booster shot when I was four.

It is said that "the dark side of the moon" makes a sort of eerie soundtrack that goes right along with the movie. Never personally tried it myself, but it sounds cool.
