My best friend, who I happen to live with , and work with, is pregnant. She feels very nauseous most of the time. She was pregnant around the same time last year, and the same thing occurred. I have felt extremely nauseous all week long. I even felt like this before she told me what was giong on, but somehow i already new, due to what happened last time. Unfortunately, last time she had a miscarage so I wasnt really sure if what I was feeling could be classified as "sympathy" feelings. I know that husbands are capable of feeling all kinds of symptoms when their partners are impregnated, but is it possible for me to be feeling the same??? There is also no way possible that I might be pregnant either, as I just ended my period.... any thoughts?

its strange , when woman live among each other closely , their internal habits mimick each other. for example if you live with her do you notice that prior to her pregnancy you menstruated around the same time? i believe you are expiriencing her symptoms because you are both femal and friends and in the same house.

It's likely that it is not sympathy, however your friend throwing up may strike you as repulsive without you really knowing it.
But- if she told you about it after you were already experiencing nauseas feelings and symptoms then you may consider going to the doctor because you may have an illness that is not related to pregnancy or psychological sympathy.

Well she is your friend. They will need you to care for them and support them that is why you are her friend.
