ok...who else thinks the battle for the eastern conference is going to be between the devils and the sabres....the devils have been so hot lately and the sabres have been hot all year....who else thinks so?

I agree. The Sabres are an offensive power. The Devils are calculating, careful and have Brodeur.

The Sabres are pretty far ahead of other teams in the Eastern Conference at this point, so they'd have to go and seriously self-destruct to lose their first place standing, IMO. Don't forget they're the team whose longest losing streak is two games!

As much as I hate them.... I think the Sabres will make it a one team race for first place. Unless of course they lose Briere or their goalies to injuries...

It won't be a tie because the Devils will win outrigt if it ends with those two on top.

The Thrashers are doing very very good, I wouldn't rule them out one bit, I think they are going to go far this season.

Maybe but don't count out the defending Stanly Cup Champs, and the most exciting team in the league!!!!!

Those teams would be Carolina and my Pittsburgh Penguins!!!!!!
