You have every right to feel angry, humiliated and used. It's NOT your fault. This guy was much older than you - and the fact that you were so young actually doesn't make much difference (although it was illegal). He knew he could take advantage of someone so inexperienced. There's a word for people who impose their will on other against that persons wishes - evil. What this man did to you was evil. It was selfish and only to satisfy his desires. Please try to believe that you weren't stupid, or to blame for any of this. He abused your trust and his friendship with your family. You actually have nothing to regret. You didn't start it. You probably didn't even feel like you had much choice. I've no doubt that he was very persistent and wouldn't listen to you.
I know it's difficult, but you need to forgive yourself for what happened, and realise that regretting the past doesn't change it. You might like to tell this man that you're older now, and that you're considering bringing all of this out into the open. That will terrify him, which is certainly what he deserves, but if you do feel that you want to force closure on all of this after 4 years, be considerate of his wife. She knows nothing of any of this, will be very hurt, and is innocent.
I don't often allow people to email me, but if you feel that you want to talk to me, please do so. You can reach me through here!
I hope this helps.

I do not feel that it matters about age between two people , If two people find love and have a common attraction then It should not matter what the difference in their ages . That being said I feel that they should both be old enough to know what they want and know what makes them happy . No one should take advantage of someone who is underage . I have friends of all ages and I have dated guys that are the same age as myself and I have dated guys that are 20 yrs younger than I am . For me it is about the soul , and the mind . Some people a very mature at 20 and some people are very immature at 60 . If you find someone that you can hold a conversation with , you have a connection to , you are attracted to , and you feel that you may have a chance to make a lasting relationship with , Take the chance and let it play out . You may find the love of your life . Too many people place too much emphasis on age and someone being too old . Age is just a mind over matter , If you don't mind then it sure as heck doesn't matter .

You must have been a beauty at 13. Not sure where you live, but in some states that is automatically rape. Other states its called pedophilia. No matter what its called, anyone who is 23 has no business being "with" someone who is 13. Thats just not right. However, and there is no easy way to say this, but he was using you. He used you until he got tired of you and then found someone more his own age.
You need to talk to your parents and tell them what happened. This guy has no right to do what he did to you. He knew what to say to you and he said it. You were young and you believed him. This guy needs to be beaten senseless.
Go tell your parents what happened. He had no right to do that to you.

Sweetheart, this man used you. He wanted something you had and he got it. Remember this for the rest of your life! SOME People are deceptive and will do what they can to get what they want. Guys that age can be dogs. You were a kid and he was supposed to be grown man. STATUATORY RAPE IS WHAT IS WAS!! If you pass him on the street, look the other way! He's a con and I would not give him another minute of you time. Don't feel bad about yourself either. You were a victim. Love your body, wait for someone special.

Cradle snatcher i'm afraid. Please don't beat yourself up about it, you were too young to fully grasp how odd the situation was (and what 13 year old doesn't want to look cool and have an older bf?). Have nothing more to do with him, what a freak he is. If he had sex with you or was grooming you to have sex he could go to prison too as a paedophile. If you haven't spoken to someone about all this i really do recommend you to.

This man used you and is still trying to do so.
He sounds like a pedophile to me.
We all make bad choices in life, we all make mistakes. Learn from this one, move past it, and start dating someone closer to your own age.
Cut all ties with this idiot.
