To those who believe in his existence, and I am one of them, it's described best in Revelations: "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End."

God is God.
I think the nature of God is such that "Who?" is an inapt question. What is God? That is unanswerable - humans cannot fathom a being, an entity, a power that can create a universe.

God falls into the same category as Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. The only difference is that over the thousands of years millions of people were never slaughtered in the name of either Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny. Only God.

If God were to withdraw His all-sustaining Presence from the creation, the universe would vanish tracelessly into the ether. He wil let EVERYONE know who and what He is on judgement day.

Man made creation to offer some sort of comfort and supply "answers" to things we don't know the real answer to. Also a tool for some to exert power over others. Hopefully an old belief system that is on the way out.

God is the being who created all--and to whom we will all answer to when our time comes. He is the Alpha and Omega........without Him--we are nothing.
