I had my last son with forceps. It hurt a lot. I did not have much drugs at all. You may want some!

My daughter was delivered using forceps. I was so numb from the drugs I did not feel a thing. They kind of look like big salad tongs.

I didn't feel anything due to the epidural. I tore, but not too many stitches
The big thing though is my son was black and blue on his whole face, he ended up with jaundice, and back into the hospital under lights for 24 hours.

i didnt have to have that done, and if you get the epidural you wont feel a thing, good luck.

sorry but I never had that done that I know of. all I know it was painful and that is all I felt, (the contractions).and I couldn't see what they were doing.
