do I have to pay taxes if I keep my money under my mattress? :)

But seriously, there seems to be some strain in American politics that's ready to label conduct as "immoral" at the drop of a hat.

But some focus on sexual practices, and others focus on economic ones.

Think about it - how many people are quick to call people who are wealthy "greedy" or "evil," and want to get their hands on as much of someone else's money as they can.

But is there much difference between saying "hands off my body" and "hands off my wallet?"

Compare, contrast, discuss.

Thanks!

Politics is about getting people to do what you want. One of the easiest way to motivate people is to define a common enemy; "Haves" vs. "Have Nots," my religion vs. your religion... anything to divide and conquer. Liberals do not call the wealthy "evil" or "greedy." There are tons of wealthy Liberals. Really, really wealthy Liberals.

We call people "evil" and "greedy" when they ignore the consequences of their actions in the pursuit of the dollar.

As far as your last question, would you rather be raped or robbed? I think hands off my body is way more important.

The questions is misleading. It's not where you put your money when you have it, its how you got it in the first place. Did you work as an employee? then you will get a W-2 form; if you earn the money as an independent contractor, you should have a 1099.
