So where did they go? And if they are still available, who is most likely to use them now?

I think Bush and Blair are as big clowns as everyone else, but seriously there is plenty of evidence of chemical weapons - It's well documented about the use of them in the Iran - Iraq war by both sides.
I'm a member of NBC-UK and I have regular contact with the joint CBRN regiment.

Nearly 500 shellls containing chemical weapons were found, but it wasn't publicized very well in the media. Look it up ... they have found a lot of evidence of recent production as well.

The bulk of the weapons were moved (most likely to Syria) for protection. I know that there are a lot of people who say that it was an excuse, but every major intelligence angency in the world (Russian included) verified the existence of the weapons. Saddam himself liked to world believing that he had them because he felt it was a deterrent to attack.

They found some, most were moved or buried.

They may have brought in chemical weapons in order to fight Iran but they never had the means to manufacture or launch a chemical attack on the West. A weapon of Mass Destruction by it's definition is a bomb (either chemical, nuclear etc) that could literally destroy entire cities - Iraq has never had that facility. The late Robin Cook explained all this in the House of Commons when he resigned. The WMD scare was all humbug I'm afraid, because, as you say, where are they now? They can't have simply vanished, the answer is, they never actually existed.

They did posess chemical tipped scuds in the 80's which Saddam gladly used during the 80's on Iran and the Kurds.
However after he had the brilliant idea of invading Kuwait and the consecutive gulf war Iraq was forced to surrender it's middle and long distance missiles and also what was left of it's chemical stockpile. After various weapons inspections no remaining weapons were found. It's unclear whether they were destroyed or sold. Since then Iraq simply no longer had the means to set up a major weapons program. neither Biological or chemical and definately not nuclear. Yes indeed the entire 2nd gulf war was a sham to try and control Iraq's oil. (at which they failed miserably)

The majority of people are of the opinion there were no
WMDs in Iraq. However, there are unsubstantiated reports by former senior Iraqi Air Force officers of transporting such weapons to Syria shortly before the war started.

"We've found loads of evidence".

OK - provide it please. The intelligence on the WMDs was provided by a source known as "Curve Ball" and he was known to be an unreliable source. The Bush Administration "fit the evidence" to what they wanted us to believe. Getting rid of Saddam Hussein was a good thing, but I for one don't appreciate being misled about the truth. Saddam wanted us to believe he had the WMDs because it was a deterrent to him being attacked. Did he have weapons programs? Yes. Did he have them to the extent claimed by the current administration? No, and they knew it.

Bio-chem weapons have finite shelf lives (on the order of years, not decades) and Iraq was no longer able to manufacture them. In 1998, Clinton bombed and destroyed Hussein’s manufacturing facilities.

I trust the different posters, undertaking is carried out. Saddam Hussein is faraway from potential. even nevertheless it could have been effective to locate the WMDs to break them, a minimum of we carried out what we got down to do. it variety of feels like the sadistic evil dictator fans (Saddam) are going "nuts" with the thumbs down over some easy undeniable information that they are going to not at all ever, EVER admit to besides, what do you think of?

It sounds like Bush had you brainwashed. There were no weapons of mass destruction found, beyond a few relics which were built before the first Gulf War. The government even came out and admitted that their "intelligence" was bad.

He sent them all to north Korea. They then attached nuclear warheads onto the missile base, which was then shipped to Cuba and the Republic of Negroidia, an underwater African-American Stalinist-communist-ZOG-united nations state located off the coast of new Orleans bay.
