Okay so this year I am a freshman. I didn't want to go to the public high school here so I went to a private Christian school thinking it would be better. I was wrong. I have barely any friends there but they're not the kind of people I would like to be friends with. The school I would be changing to is the public high school. All of my friends go there but the school is "ghetto" and is really big (About 2000 students) The reason I'm not sure is because there are lots of people there I would not get along with but my friends are there so that's a plus. So what should I do?

Since the school year is about half over with...I would go a head and finish this year where you are...changing in mid stream can sometimes throw a person off.... than you can decide this summer which school you would like to attend....one more thing, I know friends are really important...but ,you need to look at the whole picture...you have to ask yourself which of the two schools do you think will give you the best education and the most opportunities.. you're a freshman now..and in three more years this will become an important factor toward your future.....keep in mind, you can always hang out with your friends after school ,during weekends ,and the summer...
my kid does motocross and a lot of his friends doesn't even live in the same state as we do......but they are still friends and they do hang out together..

I to am a freshman and went to a private school and I am now in a public school but I have quite a few freinds but there are people that are not the best people in the world but I just ignore them

Public high school IS THE BEST! Because i have a job there and i got $103.00 a month. And if you want to do taht. I would say yes, P.s. I am a freshmen to

if you would change school and there are "no kind of people you like to be friends with",as you say...better not change at all..because people are not the same and not as you expected them as you want to...and if you can't and you don't want to get along or adjust...you really better not change school....^^
